This meal is perfect for a busy day; all prep is simple & minimal. Use a slow cooker liner to make clean up quick too!
Simple Chicken & Veggies
Ingredients
- 1 package of chicken breasts (or your preferred cut of chicken meat)
- 3 cans of cream of chicken (about 10 oz size)
- 1 cup water
- 1 bag of frozen mixed veggies peas, diced carrots & corn (look for steam in bag for ultimate efficiency)
- 1 package of refrigerated biscuits of your choice
- 1 slow cooker liner

Instructions
- Place the liner in your slow cooker.
- Empty the cans of cream of chicken into the slow cooker. Add water. Mix thoroughly.
- Place chicken breasts into the slow cooker, pushing down into cream of chicken until covered or mostly covered.
- Cook on low for 3 hours. Then remove chicken, shred with forks into bite size for littles & return to slow cooker.
- Steam mixed veggies & add to slow cooker. Mix thoroughly.
- Cook on low 2 more hours.
- Bake biscuits during the last hour, try to time them to be ready when the chicken will be. Tear biscuits into bite sized pieces for littles.
- Serve biscuits & chicken!
